It spread like a wild fire when New York City radio station Z100 reported that the actor passed away after falling 50 feet off a mountain.
Usmagazine.com reports that the representatives of Crowe have denied the report of his death but still it couldn't be confirmed as yet.Other stars who also have been caught in a death prank includes Whitney Houston's former husband Bobby Brown, Britney Spears, Eminem, George Clooney, Natalie Portman and Johnny Depp.
