Rustom's success: Akshay Kumar hasn't received congratulatory message from Hrithik Roshan
Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar's Rustom is doing good at the box office. The film, which is based on the real life events of KM Nanavati, an Indian Navy Commander, has been given thumbs up by the audiences. The actor has also received a lot of appreciation for his role.

However, Akshay wasn't very confident about the film. "Initially, I was nervous. But I liked the screenplay and script and therefore took it up. But I'm glad that people are open to watching real cinema and real stories," said Akshay.

While commenting on the clash between Rustom and Hrithik starrer Mohenjo Daro, Akshay said, "It's not a clash, that's the wrong word to use. We always pray that all the movies should run because if the movies run, it will be good for the actors and for the industry overall."

When he was asked whether such clashes change the equations between actors, he said, "Not at all, Hrithik and I are still good and happy neighbors, we are still friends, we still talk to each other, we eat together and we respect each other."

However, Khiladi Kumar also added that he had not received any congratulatory message from Hrithik Roshan for Rustom's success.

In the mean time, Akshay has also announced his next project 'Crack' in collaboration with director Neeraj Pandey. The duo had already worked together in 'Special 26' and 'Baby'.

The actor announced the project on the special occasion of Independence Day and also revealed the first look of poster of the film, which will release on the next Independence Day:

"What works with Neeraj is his knack for new ideas and him coming up with real life incidents for a film. Then, his screenplay and script is always novel. His take on a script is always different," said the actor.
