THE UNION Ministry of Information and Broadcast should immediately constitute an expert-committee, which should also include psychologists to examine feasibility to allow continuing newly started TV programme Sach Ka Saamna’ by Star-Plus.

Is it not misuse of polygraph-test conducted to detect lies of a person, to be used as money-minting game-show by TV channel? Is it fair to expose bitter facts of human life before millions of viewers which otherwise are to be hidden between close-relations like husband and wife? Can failure of lie-detector test not unnecessarily cause embarrassment between otherwise close-knit relations? What is the authenticity that programme-producer reveals real reply received at lie-detecting test?

There can be many more similar questions, which need to be examined at length before allowing this programme to be aired on TV screens. This programme has unnecessarily tended to create bitterness amongst close friends Vinod Kambli and Sachin Tendulkar.

Union government should immediately study the programme and take steps to terminate it if experts’ opinion goes against the programme before it is too late.
