The superb innings played by Sachin Tendulkar in the India vs Australia ODI, that took place in Hyderabad on Thursday, November 5, was a sight to behold. While Tendulkar was the Man of the Match as well as able to complete his 17000 runs in ODI cricket, the innings was no walk through for Australia either.

 

Australian captain Ricky Ponting, had been on toes, throughout the match, till P Kumar was run out with two balls remaining in the match, winning with a mere three run margin. Ponting must have also realised why Sachin is called as the ‘God of Cricket’ by millions of fans across the globe, with his score of 175 runs. May he play for many more years and keep on entertaining us like he did in Hyderabad.
