TONIGHT AT Mumbai's Wankhede Stadium, in the 66th match of the Indian premier league 2011, two legends from the cricket world will face each other for the last time on a cricket ground. Shane Warne, who is playing his last IPL game tonight, will bowl for the last time to his favourite opponent Sachin Tendulkar. He has already retired from all formats of international cricket.

Rajasthan Royals, who is out of the Indian Premier league 2011, is likely to give its captain-cum-coach a grand farewell with a win against the in-form Mumbai Indians. Under the leadership of Shane Warne, Rajasthan Royals, who was considered as the under dogs in the IPL inaugural edition in 2008, won the tournament.

The Sachin Tendulkar-led Mumbai Indians has 16 points in the IPL 2011, and the team needs one more win from two games to secure a berth for the last four stage. Kolkata knight Riders also has 16 points in the tournament, but Kolkata net run rate is better than Mumbai.

The Mumbai team is one of the strongest contenders of the IPL 2011. Mumbai Indians are strong in all the three parts of the game; batting, bowling and fielding. In the Mumbai squad along with Sachin Tendulkar there are a number of match winners including Ambati Rayudu, Rohit Sharma, Andrew Symonds, Harbhajan Singh, Lasith Malinga, Kieron Pollard, and Munaf Patel.

Sachin Tendulkar has scored more than 400 runs in the IPL 2011 and Lasith Malinga has picked 27 wickets so far in the ongoing tournament.

Inspite of a number of performers including Shane Watson, Rahul Dravid, Ross Taylor, Johan Botha and captain Shane Warne himself, team was not very consistent in either batting or bowling.

Rajasthan Royals started its IPL 2011 campaign on a winning note. Royals have earned 11 points from nine games, and were looking as one of the confirmed contender for the play-off stage, but in the last four games the team lost all the matches.

Tonight all the eyes will be on Sachin Tendulkar and Shane Warne, who will play the last time with each other. Shane Warne has said that Tendulkar is the best batsmen he has played against, and that there were times that the little master gave him nightmares. Both are friends off the field and are also role models for aspiring cricketers across the world.
