Sacrifices continue despite appeals: Telangana
The attitude of the union government is something that can provoke the Telangana youth to suicide. People are facing a lot of hardship as the pro-Telangana protests enter the 20th day.

SACRIFICES FOR Telangana state have been continuing despite appeals by the political leaders of Telangana. The deaf and dumb attitude of the Center makes the youth more emotional, which costs their lives. On Sunday, a 16-year-old intermediate studying girl set herself ablaze and a conductor of RTC hanged himself. Bhavani who is a committed activist of Telangana committed suicide for the cause of Telangana. She belongs to Nagole area of city. She committed suicide when her family members went outside and she wrote on the wall of a room by coal that she feared that Telangana might not be realized. In another incident a 30-year-old Laxmaiah, conductor of APSRTC Ibrahimpatnam, hanged himself to death to a fan in the room.

On Monday some hundreds of passengers were stranded at the boarder of Telangana between Nalgonda and Krishna districts. Over 50 private busses coming from Vijayawada to Hyderabad were stopped by government authorities in view of threats from the Telangana agitators.

The state-owned RTC busses have been off the roads for two weeks due to the strike by RTC employees in the wake of SAKALA JANULA SAMME. Making use of this opportunity, private operators are running extra buses from Vijayawada to Hyderabad.
