After Saina’s disappointing show in the Singapore and Thailand Open, she has turned her focus towards the Indonesian Open where several top players of the world are vying for the title. But, there is some good news for the Indian superstar as World number 1 and 2, who are both from China have crashed out of the competition. However, Saina has to be at the top of her game if she is to defeat an in-form Dane player, Tine Baun, who has had a good run in her previous tournaments. Baun reached the finals of the Singapore open too. The Indian superstar needs to play an attacking game in order to come out triumphant. The fourth seeded Indian would be pleased to see the crowd supporting her, as there is a majority of Indian population in Indonesia.
These two players have suddenly become the favourites to lift aloft the title as top Chinese contenders, Wang Shixian and Wang Xin lost in the initial rounds of the competition. So, it has been deemed as an important match by all and sundry. Saina would be eager to win the match as she has not had a good season this year.
