Salman Khan being biased to Tanisha and Armaan Kohli in Bigg Boss
Although I was never a Salman Khan loyalist, yet I used to relish his act in the Bigg Boss house in all the previous seasons, primarily because, whatever his personal philosophy is, he always used to be objective on the show. Taking classes of people who are difficult to reprimanding people for bad behaviour, he has done it all. However, this time the story is different. From blatantly supporting Armaan Kohli's bad behaviour by saying, 'woh aisa hi hai' to portraying Tanisha Mukherjee as the victim, he is playing the big brother to these yesteryear actors.
That is not all, as he has replies to all accusation and tweets all day about his words and action in the Bigg Boss house. When Kushal Tandon scaled the Bigg Boss house in Season 7 to get his way, it was given that he would be chastised by Khan. But what Salman did was blatantly siding with Tanisha.
Agreed, what Tandon did and said was below the belt and he got what he deserved but did Tanisha deserve the shoulder? She also retaliated and she is the one who is badmouthing everyone in the house. Is Salman's protective shield just because they are from the same fraternity or is it to make sure that Kajol's sister stays put in the house?
When someone said in Twitter that he was being unfair, Salman Khan tweeted, ?You see one hour, I see the whole deal...guess some of you do not react when someone speaks to your family ka female members or women in that manner...But I do and most of us stand up against men who run women down. If this is not our culture we should better adopt in our culture.? Okay, so he was being the culturally correct male but what about Armaan Kohli- why is he getting the actor's support?
We have seen people in previous seasons of Bigg Boss with bad tempers but they were never supported by the host or Khan never explained their temper. Although Guahar Khan did try to stand up to him this time, even she was asked to zip it by Khan. His action has definitely taken a bad turn for the house and made me more skeptical of him. This makes me say that if it is Salman's last season (as he said) then it won't be the end of Bigg Boss as the show needs a host who is objective and not burdened with his own emotions.
