Salman Khan casts out Arijit Singh yet again in his new film!
Salman Khan and Arijit Singh both have their fan following but the two haven't come together in many years. And the rift continues.

The superstar has not been able to come to terms with the singer. Their fight started way back in 2014 at the Star Guild Awards.

The actor recently removed the talented singer's rough version of a song in the film Welcome To New York.

Salman Khan has asked the makers of the film to oust the singer's song from the film. Arijit as a singer has proved his mettle in the music world but the singer hasn't been able to melt down Salman's heart in any way.

The fuss does not seem to extinguish even after so many years. Even though Salman is doing a guest appearance in the film, but the actor ensured that Arijit was not part of the film's music, instead Rahat Fateh Ali Khan would lend his voice for the song now.

The rift between the two goes back to 2014, when Arijit was invited for an awards show. On reaching the stage, Arijit said, "Aap logon ne toh sula diya (you put us to sleep)."

A close source revealed anonymously to by saying, "Arijit has sung the rough scratch of the track which was to be used in the film. However, Salman was quite miffed and he told the makers, "Anyone in the fraternity could croon the track but Arijit." The makers had a few singers in mind out of which they zeroed in on Rahat."

Salman had also asked the makers of Kick and Prem Ratan Dhan Payo to take back Arijit's already recorded songs from the albums. Arijit had written an open letter on Facebook where he had asked for an apology. He had requested the actor to let his version of the song Jag Ghoomeya remain in the music album of Sultan but the actor did not pay any heed to Arijit's request and the rest is history!

Arijit's inn his open letter to Salman wrote, "Please do not remove the song that I sang for you in Sultan… I want to retire with at least one song of you keeping in my library. Please do not take away this feeling."
