The bad boy of Bollywood proved that he is truly a gentleman by congratulating Abhishek and Amitabh Bachchan. Given past history it shocked everyone in and outside Bollywood.

THE GOLDEN couple of Bollywood Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is about to have their first child and the unthinkable has happened. Salman Khan, Aishwarya’s ex-beau, who also had a very stormy relationship with the same actress, became the bigger man and congratulated Abhishek about the good news.

At a launch of a Blackberry application product Salman Khan made news when he said that, “I would like to congratulate Mr. Bachchan that he is going to become a grandfather and also Abhishek and Aishwarya. I hope they make a whole football team.”

Given his history with the actress - this came out of the blue but everyone is happy and feels as if the actor finally had closure at least where that chapter in his life was concerned. Always known to be volatile in nature, yet with a huge heart, Salman’s and Aishwarya’s story started when they did a movie ‘Hum de chuke sanam.’ After that, their love bloomed quickly to be followed by disaster when Salman reportedly abused the actress. She came off the relationship in 2001 and in 2007 married Junior Bachchan.

The entire film industry is celebrating the joy over the good news but to get congratulation out of a ex is really surprising. Although Aishwarya and Abhishek wanted to keep the news under wraps yet Amitabh Bachchan couldn’t contain his joy and he tweeted the good news. Currently, the mother-to-be is working on Madhur Bhandarkar’s movie 'Heroine' and has decided to go with her 45 days schedule.

The director is not concerned that this news might harm the movie in any way as he knows that Aishwarya’s fame would not decrease in any way after the news that she is pregnant. To the contrary, it would help with the promotion of the film. Aishwarya plans to take rest after she is done with the shooting schedule of Heroine.
