Same set of Gurgaon builders cheat again; police makes no arrest
Gurgaon's real estate industry is in news for some negative reasons this time. In a new incident of fraud which has surfaced, a resident of Chanakyapuri, New Delhi has accused a Gurgaon based builder of failing to provide him his dream home in return of the money he paid to him.

The buyer, Pawan Sachdeva, claimed that he had paid a hefty sum of Rs. 8 lacs to the four directors of a company in 2008 to purchase a flat, but he was cheated, according to a TOI report.

The report says that the directors of Pal Infrastructure Private limited cheated Sachdeva under the pretext of an offer on a flat in 2008. The victim neither got the flat nor was he refunded. An FIR has been lodged against the directors of the firm for fraud and criminal breach of trust.

According to Inspector Ghulam Mohammad, SHO of DLF-I police station FIR has been lodged against the four directors of the Pal Infrastructure namely Rajesh Kumar Yadav, Harpal Singh, Manav Chandra and Hansraj of Pal Infrastructure. The police tried to reah them on phone, but got no reply.

This is not the first case where the people have been cheated out of their money by the same company and the people. In January 2013, an FIR similar to this case was lodged against the same directors for allegedly cheating another Delhi resident of Rs. 10.47 lacs. The cops then assigned the inquiry to the Economic Offenses Wing (EWO) and on the recommendation of the EOW, DLF–I police lodged the FIR against the directors.

Interestingly despite repeated FIRs against the same set of persons, the police have not made any arrest so far in the case.
