Samsung Galaxy S III to be released today in India
The day has finally come for Samsung Galaxy S III to be released in India. There has been a huge demand for the phone, and various websites have already started to take in pre-booking orders.

GADGET LOVERS across India were waiting for the Indian standard time to hit 1: 30 pm today, as the much awaited Samsung Galaxy S III was released in New Delhi. The smartphone has already been talked about as one of the best smartphones of the year, and is expected to give tough competition to Apple's iPhone 4S and phones in the similar category, all of which have been successful. It would be interesting to see in the near future how Samsung Galaxy S III does.

As of now people seem to be very eager to lay their hands on the new Samsung Galaxy S III, which is expected to cost between Rs 34,000 to 38,000, as per experts. But Samsung has not announced the official Indian price of the phone. Those interested in acquiring the phone can go to Samsung's online store, where they can pre-book at a cost of Rs 2000. But, this amount is non-refundable but adjusted when the person buys the smartphone.

Apart from this, there are other websites like snapdeal.com, where one only has to shell out Rs 250 to pre-book the amazing smartphone. Whereas Infibeam has also put a higher pre-booking oder price of Rs 1000. When such kind of smartphones are set to be released, malls also try to put their best foot forward and have kiosks, as has been reported at some malls at Delhi NCR region. Foootfalls are expected to be on the higher side for today.

Samsung Galaxy has been one of the most awaited smartphones as it has some attractive features to woo customers. The smartphone has a 4.8 inch HD Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, a quad-core microprocessor, 8MP camera (main camera), and a 1.9 front facing camera among many other attractive features - and of course there are special features such as 'Smart stay', 'Pop Up Play', which has already made the phone one of the most desirable gadgets in the world.
