Ranjit Yadav, country head, Samsung Mobile and IT revealed that this was the first handset from Samsung stable that had a curved LCD screen, and used Near Field Communication (NFC) technology.
NFC technology will help phone users to read tags having NFC chips. The phone also offers Wi-Fi connectivity, multi-tasking and access to around 1 lakh android widgets. It is being offered with a 16 GB internal memory, which can be expanded.
The price of Samsung Nexus is Rs 29,590.
On this occasion, Samsung also launched five new Galaxy Smart phone models that included Galaxy Pro, Ace, Fit, Pop and Galaxy Pop CDMA.
These phones are priced at 13,750, Rs. 17,040, Rs. 11,870, Rs. 12,290 and Rs. 10.500 respectively.
