THE ACCEPTANCE speech that Sandra Bullock made for her best actress Oscar win at the Oscar Awards 2010 or the Academy Awards 2010, is still making news, with people searching for it all over the internet. The actress who had shimmered in a gold gown for the Academy Awards 2010 won the Oscar for her role in The Blind Side.
In her acceptance speech an emotional Sandra Bullock, held her Oscar high and asked, “Did I really earn this, or did I just wear you all down?" She showered love on her co nominees saying, "Gabby, I love you so much. You are exquisite. You are beyond words to me. Carey, your grace and your elegance and your beauty and your talent makes me sick. Helen, I feel like we are family through family and I don't have the words to express just what I think of you. And Meryl, you know what I think of you and you are such a good kisser."
She thanked everyone, "who had shown kindness when it wasn’t fashionable” and to “everyone who was mean to me”, including George Clooney, who had once thrown her into a pool. She was smiling through tears, when she thanked her mother “for not letting me ride in cars with boys until I was 18”.
