However details of the settlement have been sealed by the court but Bullock’s earlier filings cite "discord or conflict of personalities" as grounds for the divorce.
James' publicist, Monique Huey-Jones, declined to comment on the split while Bullock’s publicist confirmed the split. The actress and "Monster Garage" star met in 2003 and married in 2005. The couple was not much looked upto since America’s sweetheart was wedded to a biker already weded twice. It was the first marriage for Bullock, who became a devoted stepmom to James' children.
The couple was not much in the limelight together even though they continued to pile up individual successes. Bullock garnered film credits while Jesse James expanded his reality TV presence by participating on shows like Celebrity Apprentice. However their problems apparently surfaced in March, just days after Bullock won the best-actress Oscar for her role in "The Blind Side."
The couple was a fixture at the glittery awards shows this year. She called James "sexy" as she accepted her Screen Actor's Guild award. Backstage, he held her purse as she spoke to reporters.
At the Golden Globes, Bullock told James from the stage, her voice cracking with emotion and words full of appreciation for James. She even called James the backbone of her success.
