Sanyam and Santaan: Two aspects of family life
Of late our countrymen are involved into too many sexual crimes. No one is guiding the GEN Next to practise Sanyam or control over sexual desires. it is possible to improve the crime graph provided leaders of society try.
SANTAAN IS a Sanskrit word; it means offsprings both male and female. The concept of marriage is for procreation -for having children to carry the baton forward to the next generation. Procreation is possible only when the spouses belong to two different sexes -one is male and the other is female. Nature has made us like that and there is no alternative to it as of now. SAME SEX COUPLES
Two boys or two girls may become living in partners but they can never become husband and wife couple for procreation. Nature has made us like that.
District of Columbia has made laws legalising same sex marriages.Now the marriage bureau staff is gearing up for solemnising marriages of same sex couples.The law may permit this solemnizing of marriage and taking vows but the end result from the angle of procreation will be a Zero.
Vedic wedding solemnised among Hindus in India and elsewhere,a vow is taken by both the partners to procreate. We will have SANTAAN or beget sons and daughters to become fully fulfilled.
Can the same sex couples take this vow and redeem it.
Biologically they cannot. Indeed the same sex couples are living in partners for sexually satisfying themselves as Gays or as Lesbians. There is no light at the end of the sexual tunnel for same sex couples. Once the act of coupulation is over, a strange feeling, a queer emotion is experienced by gays or lesbians.What Next? That question may not be asked openly by either of the same sex couple but the question lingers on and becomes a nagging one in due course of time.
Some partners of the same sex couple do return to the natural way of sexual living and beget SANTAAN - children and live happily everafter. Those who do not revert to natural ways of sex, not only for sexual satisfaction but also to cater for the demand of Motherhood and Fatherhood. These cannot be ignored for ever.
A piece of sound advice to all concerned is: Live a life that Nature has ordained for you and the Man - Woman team making a married couple will be happier than the same sex couples.
