Saving the environment will promote the health of the planet
Popular Indian-American teenager Ravjot Singh stated that she believes saving the environment will, overall, promote the health of our planet. She gave this statement while releasing a new photograph on social media in support of an online initiative for plantation, founded by Ankit Singh Gehlot in 2008.

According to a news report Ravjot Singh released a new photograph on social media to create awareness among her family, friends, fans about plantation in support of GreenIndiaInitiative. She stated, “I believe saving the environment will overall promote the health of our planet. We cannot continue to ignore the problem at hand, for it shall effect every human alive. Let's all do our part, no matter how large and small, and do something kind for the Earth as well as our fellow humans.”

Ravjot Singh (17), based in San Franscisco, in the US, is an influential person on social media, and has her own YouTube channel with a good fan-base. She has also been in news for this and her humanitarian works.

Excited to receive a great response from her, Ankit Singh Gehlot, founder of GreenIndiaInitiative was quite glad to hear about it. He said, “It's very nice that she released the photograph. She is just like a sister for me and I am much glad that she supported the initiative in this way. It was just a casual way that I discussed things with her.” Gehlot started the website GreenIndiaInitiative in December 2008 to encourage people to plant trees.
