STATE BANK of India, largest public sector bank in which Reserve Bank of India ownes a major stake, invites application for clerical jobs. Any undergraduate or graduate or equivalent who has passed his/her examination with 60 per cent in case of 10+2 and 40 per cent if the candidate has a graduate degree. Students who have completed or equivalent to diploma course after class X can also apply but the diploma should be full time.
Minimum age for the application is of 18 years and maximum of 28 years for general candidate. Upper age relaxation is applicable for the candidates under SC, ST, OBC, physically changelled general, PH-SC AND PH-ST with 5,5,3,10 and 15 years respectively. Various other categories are also listed on the official site of state bank.
Application fee comprises of 200 INR and candidates under SC/ST are exempted from the fee. Postal charges of 50 INR is application for all. Selection Procedure: Final selection will be made on the basis of performance in the written test and interview taken together. Written test wil be of objective type consisting of general awareness, general english, quantitative aptitude, reasoning ability and marketing aptitude or computer knowledge. There will be negative marking as well, 1/4th of the total and minimum 40 per cent for general and 35 per cent for reserved category is a must.
