Samajwadi Party leader Amar Singh was allegedly heckled and pushed by some MPs in the Rajya Sabha after he tried to stop them from raising slogans 'Jai Shri Ram' and rushing into the well of the House.
THE GOVERNMENT tabled the Liberhan Commission of Inquiry report in the Rajya Sabha today (November 24), that probed the demolition of the Babri Masjid. While presenting the report, the house was distruped by slogans of “Jai Sri Ram.”
Meanwhile Samajwadi Party leader Amar Singh was allegedly heckled and pushed by some MPs in the Rajya Sabha after he tried to stop them from raising slogans “Jai Shri Ram” and rushing into the well of the House.The MPs allegedly heckled and pushed Singh when he urged them to stop. When Home Minister read out a statement tabling the report, BJP leader shouted as Jai Sri Ram and Amar Singh tried to stop them, meanwhile Amar Singh went towards toward BJP's SS Ahluwalia and objected to the slogans.
The SP leader also tried to push Ahluwalia away but was in turn violently pushed back. This led to other members joining in the scuffle. While Minister Prithiviraj Chavan appealed the members to calm down but to no use.
