The Second International Jaipur Art Festival (IJAF) kicked off yesterday at Hotel Diggi Palace in Jaipur (free entry), and will end on 23rd March. The festival was inaugurated by Satish Mehta, the Director General of Indian Council of Cultural Relations.
the IJAF organizers, the main highlight of the festival is the live
display of 225 accomplished artists from all over the world
India. The fest website reports that the artists from 25 countries
and 22 states of India
are participating in the event as well.

art, phad, calligraphy, mandana, fresco, blue pottery, wash
technique, Mithila painting, tie and dye, batik, charcoal, glass
painting, enamel art, sand sculpture, crochet, kantha, patta chitra,
brass inlay, jewellery making and lac bangle making at the Jaipur
Festival," inform the organizers.
other high point of the event are art seminars and art talks on the
20th, 21st and 22nd March along with the exhibition and sale of
artworks produced in the festival would be held from 22nd to 25th
March. Also, the festival will be marked by a photography contest
with themes “Life in Pink City" and "Jaipur Art Festival
