Madhuri Dixit is soon to join all the famous names in Madame Tussuads wax museum. Hopefully her mesmerising smile would match that of her look alike.
MADHURI DIXIT is to be immortalised in wax in Madame Tussauds wax museum. Although this is not the first time that they would give life to a wax statue imitating a Bollywood actor but this time it is the dancing Diva, with a mesmerising smile, Madhuri Dixit. Will they be able to imitate it, is the real question. It is important that they capture the personality that is so characteristic of Madhuri Dixit in wax.
The wax figure would cost 150,000 pounds and Madhuri Dixit would be clad in Manish Malhotra’s saree, specially made for the occasion. The actress who is known for her roles in films such as Dil Toh Pagal hai, Lajja and Hum Aapke Hain Kaun is overjoyed to be joining the likes of
Amitabh Bachchan,
Shahrukh Khan and
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. After Madame Tussauds made the announcement, Madhuri herself confirmed the news and said, “I am really thrilled I am going to be included at Madame Tussauds. It's a real mark of achievement and to be recognised for ones art and work. It's also wonderful to be following in the footsteps of other Bollywood stars and some of my personal heroes!”
As reported in economictimes.com, for the wax imitation, Madame Tussauds is organising an entire team of sculptors, hair, make-up and wardrobe experts. They are expecting to complete the art work in four months and the entire world would see the waxwork of Madhuri Dixit’s lookalike in March.
Madhuri became famous for her acting abilities and dominated the film industry for two decades. Although her comeback did not create a storm but she is one of the most respected actresses of her time. She left the film industry at a prime of her career and settled with her husband doctor Shriram Madhav Nene. Recently she relocated to Mumbai and her fans are hopeful that they would see her dazzling smile once more.
