Seminar for the youth empowerment organised in Patna
On the occasion of the National Youth Day on 12 January, 2014, the 151th Birth anniversary of the Youth Emperor Swami Vivekananda was celebrated by Braj Bhushan Roy “Subhash Roy” at Swagat Banquet Hall at Bhutnath Road in Patna. There was a living model of young Swami Vivekananda at the main stage near the decorated photograph of Swami Ji.

This seminar was jointly inaugurated by the chief guest Prof.(Dr) Mahendra Singh, Assistant Professor, Department of Political Science, R.L.S.Y.College, Patna; N.C.Roy, Social Activist; Braj Bhushan Roy “Subhash Roy”; Archana Ray, BJYM state committee member and S.L.Das “Kaladarshi” by lighting the lamp.

All guests were welcomed by Bani Bhushan Roy with merigold garlands. The seminar was anchored by Vikas Kumar. He also delivered welcome address. Vote of thanks was given by Prof (Dr) Mahendra Singh.

“The role of healthy, educated, virtuous and powerful youth is very important for the nation building.There is a need of changes in our education system from primary class to the higher Post Graduate and technical courses. We should make our children and youth more healthy, eduated, honest and patriotic. The participation of young and honest young leathers in Indian politics is essential for the constructive use of youth power in nation building,” said the chief guest and the main speaker Prof.(Dr)Mahendra Singh.

“Who are you? What is your prime duty in this world? You are the soul. See the God in every living things. Help the poor and the needy for the blessings of the Swami Vivekananda. There is a crying need to awake our youth in the society. The greatest problem of youth in our society is unemployment. An educated, unemployed and hungry youth can not perfectly work for the nation building,” said N.C.Roy, devotee of Swami Vivekananda and social activist.

“Women are also essential part of our society. We should also encourage girls and women for the participation in the nation building programmes,”said Archna Ray, women activist and BJYM state working committee member, Patna.

National and state awardee, Swami Vivekananda series poster/painting artist, Surendra Lal Das “Kaladarshi” and Kaushal (teacher), Manish Kumar and other student  leaders also highlighted the golden message of the partiotic saint Sawmi Vivekananda.
