Sensex surges as exit polls predict BJP-led new governments in at least three states for sure
The benchmark Sensex went up by 364 points to tye level of 21,073 and the Nifty by 114.75 points at 6275.70 on the indications given by the various exit polls that BJP is going to make government in at least three out of the five states that went in to the polls earlier in the month.

According to the post poll surveys BJP is set to make a comeback in Rajasthan and will retain the power in the states of Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh. In Delhi only exit polls are either indicating  towards a hung assembly with BJP in the lead position or BJP into power replacing the incumbent Congress.  Polling agencies AC Nielsen, C-Voter, ORG-Marg, Today‚Äôs Chanakya and CSDS have conducted the exit polls.  

Delhiets are curious to know who is going to govern the state once the results come. What's new this time is the evolution of a new regional party i.e. Aam Admi Party (AAP) led by an young anti-corruption activist turned politcian Arvind Kejriwal. The party has promised big changes in the city and describe itself as true vioce of the comman man.

In the exit polls it has been predicted that no single party is going get majority in Delhi. Bhartiya janta party (BJP) appears to have an edge over the Congress and the Aam Aadmi Party in Delhi, according to the outcome of exit polls on Wednesday.

Acoording to the C-Voter's survey, in Delhi Congress will bag 21 seats, BJP to win 29 seats, and the new political outfit AAP will get 16 seats, while others will get 4 seats.  According to AC Nielsen BJP is expected to get 37 seats, Congress 16 seats and AAP will win 15 seats.

India Today- ORG survey, has predicted a handsome victory for the BJP in Delhi.  The survey  shows that BJP will win 41 seats, Congress 21 and AAP will manage to get only 6 seats.

According to the C-Voter-NWS exit polls, In Rajasthan Vasudhra Raje led BJP will make a come back by winning around 130 seats. The Congress party is expected to win 43-53 seats out of total 200 seats.

In Madhya Pradesh, the Shivraj Singh Chouhan-led BJP Government will retain the power for a third consecutive term, securing 141 seats in the 230-member Assembly, while the Congress will get 77.

In Chhattisgarh, the exit polls show the Raman Singh Government too securing a third consecutive victory in the 90-seat Assembly, with the BJP winning 50 seats. The Congress may win aroound 37 seats.
