In Kadapa the Minister of State for Railways Muniyappa laid the foundation stone of Rs 1800 worth Kadapa-Benguluru railway line.
If former chief minister YS Rajasekhra Reddy had been alive he would have felt happy seeing all these prjects coming alive as her played an active part in bringing these to the state. The Prime Minister also assured that both the projects would be completed in time bound manner.
Unfortunately, Chief Minister Rosaiah couldn’t attend these programmes along with Prime Minister as he was unwell with viral fever. The Prime Minister remembered late YSR during his speeches several times as YSR’s first death anniversary was observed on Thursday (September 2).
Rayalassema region is a backward region as compared to rest of Andhra Pradesh and there has been a strong demand for a separate state for the region.
