Serving beef at Commonwealth Games shouldn't be allowed
Any proposal by organising committee of Commonwealth Games to serve only imported beef that too for only foreign delegates in the name of international commitment must not be allowed. Insisting on beef should be taken as disgrace to Indian people.
CONGRESS MUNICIPAL Councilors in Delhi deserve all compliments to whole-heartedly support stiff resistance by ruling Bharatiya Janata Party in Municipal Corporation of Delhi against serving beef to foreign delegates participating in the forthcoming Commonwealth Games 2010 in New Delhi. Any proposal by organising committee of Commonwealth Games to even serve only imported beef that too for only foreign delegates in the name of international commitment must not be allowed. International commitments must not hurt strong religious sentiments of majority people of this country which worship cow as milking mother.

Apart from beef, there are numerous dishes to which there is no objection to be served. Beef is not such an item without which any human being can’t survive for their limited-period stay in India during Commonwealth Games 2010. Insisting on beef by international authorities should be taken as disgrace and insult to people of India.
