SES: The national distributor of Samsung hard drives
SES Technologies has been appointed as national distributor for hard drives in India by Samsung Electronics. Through this agreement it aims to create a strong distribution network which will allow the company to support an extensive reseller network.
SAMSUNG ELECTRONICS has appointed SES Technologies as its national distributor for hard drives, in India. This tie up is done with the objective of making the product more accessible across the country, leveraging off the well known strength that SES holds in up country markets and metros.

Through this agreement Samsung aims to create a strong national distribution network which will allow the company to support an extensive reseller network. In fact, the agreement with SES complements the distribution strategy of Samsung and also ensures wider reach in the country. SES also provides five years warranty and counter replacement on hard drives.

"SES's extensive network will help market our products better. We find SES to have the experience and knowledge that we seek. They in turn will enable us to penetrate the hard disk drive (HDD) range of products across India," commented S Hoon Si from Samsung, Korea.

"We will strive to offer competitive prices and faster delivery of products. With this agreement we will expand our product range and further enhance our market reputation. We are quite excited about Samsung's HDD business and confident of taking it to new heights," informed Jacques Roux, director, SES Technologies.

As one of the leading distribution houses, SES has a very strong material handling and stocking facilities with 57 warehouses across the country all linked via an enterprise resource planning (ERP) system, and with a motivated sales team, ready to drive the business for Samsung.

Most branch offices have satellite sales locations attached, further enhancing SES's prominent reach. With an effective pre and post sales support facility that distinguishes SES from its competitors, the business prospects across all spectra can be addressed effectively.

Contrary to the norm, SES has a very strong presence across the length and breadth of the country and the company is present in A, B, C and D class of cities. In fact, with an unequaled metro – non metro business ratio of 40:60, SES is indeed aligned to take distribution to farther and wider for Samsung than ever before.
