Seven killed in random gun violence at a US Gurudwara

The latest random gun violence in a Gurudwara at Wisconsin in the US has resulted in killing of seven people. The police are investigating the motive of the gun shooting.

ACCORDING TO the preliminary reports, a Caucasian man took 12 children hostage in the Gurudwara and indulged in random gun violence, killing and injuring people who had come to visit the place for worship on Sunday.

Reportedly, the police came to the scene of the crime after frantic and repeated calls. In the police action, one gunman got killed. The injured were rushed to nearby hospitals.

Random shooting violence incidents are the stark reminders of how perverse and intolerant society has become in technologically advanced age. Even modern societies are becoming socially alienated and insensitive.

America allows special gun ownership rights to its citizens, but tragedies like this point to the flaws of individual gun ownership permitted in the country.

Sikhs are often mistaken for Muslims because of their beard and turban and shot at by the fundamentalists of other religions. The US police are probing the case from the angle of domestic terrorism also.

In an earlier random shooting violence, James Holmes revealed that he had purchased four guns legally, but he violated the law by taking them into the movie theater to kill people.
