Seventh animated doodle of Google marking Winter Olympics features fish scoring in an under-water sporting event
The internet search engine giant Google has unveiled its 7th animated cartoon type doodle featuring a fish as part of the series of 17 doodles for the 2018 Winter Olympics being held in South Korea. One can activate the sporting animations involving a fish by clicking on the play button at the second 'o' of Google's logo design.

On the home page of Google, the doodle of today consists of a short animated clip of an underwater sports adventure event featuring a carton-type blue coloured fish aiming with its spits.

According to Google, "We're down by the water today for the biathlon, otherwise known as the spit-n-swim. This year's favourite, Archerfish, has their eyes on the flies and is aiming to win."

Further, Google informs that the Archerfish took the prize by 'tipping the scales' with 'fin-point accuracy' by firing fine streams of water to dislodge its prey from drier roosts.

It is reported that 2920 athletes from 92 nations are competing in 102 events of 7 sports split into 15 disciplines.

So far, Germany is topping the tally of medals by claiming 14 medals in all, of which 7 are gold, 2 silver and 3 bronze.
