Seventh edition of eleven-day Chennai Storytelling Festival announced
The 7th edition of eleven-day Chennai Storytelling Festival (CSF) has been announced. The much acclaimed festival will take place from February 1 to 11, 2019.

The organizers inform that the CSF-2019 is being presented by the World Storytelling Institute in collaboration Chennai Storytellers, Loyola College (Chennai), and numerous other organisations and individuals.

The event will include various aspects of storytelling through presentations, performances and workshops by the noted storytellers of the world.

The storytelling both 'Real and Virtual' will be the highlight of the CSF-2019. The other themes of the festival are the Storytelling for Creativity and Fun, Teaching, Training, and Healing; Stories about Strong and Clever Girls and Women; Ways the Dravidian Movement Uses Stories; and many more.

The organizers inform that from   7th to 9th February, festival would occur at the local Loyola College. Six workshops would be conducted by teams of trainers for college students to expose them to creativity, self-expression, and fun. Workshops will also include "Storytelling for Personal and Professional Success" to acquire skills for job interviews, project reports, making good impressions, etc.

There are going to workshops on storytelling for Teaching-and-learning English Language, academic subjects, coaching and counselling along with the expert performances. There will be session on video-recording of the story telling performances.

The featured Storytellers of CSF-2019 likely are Marion Kenny from Edinburgh, Scotland; Ruth Stotter from California, USA; Diana Tso and Rubena Sinha from Toronto, Canada.
