ACTRESS SHABANA Azmi has praised Congress general secretary Rahul Gandhi for his tough stand against Shiv Sena and standing up to the intimidation of the saffron party, which has browbeaten many a high and mighty to toe their parochial line in the past.
The veteran actress said that Rahul Gandhi's act of milling with the crowds and taking local trains has made him a hero and added a lot to his growing stature as leader India is looking up to. She also accused the Shiv Sena of trying to intimidate makers of My Name Is Khan for scoring brownie points. She said that the state must ensure that Thackerays are not able to carry out their threats.
