Shah Rukh Khan donated Rs 1 crore for Chennai Flood Victims
Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan has donated Rs 1 crore for the victims of Chennai floods in the Tamil Nadu's Chief Minister Public Relief Fund. Chennai and its neighbouring suburbs are submerged and people are desperately in need of help. Thus, King Khan and many celebs from south film industry too reacted with agility and contributed their best to help those suffering.

Besides, the newly appointed Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Tejaswi Yadav too set a benchmark for politicians by donating his first salary to the relief cause. Here is the list of celebs who come forward with their contributions: 

  • Bollywood ace actor Shahrukh Khan contributed Rs 1 crore.

  • Mahesh Babu, the leading Telugu actor extended his helping hand for Chennai flood victims and donated Rs 10 lakh.

  • Ace actor and superstar Rajinikanth also offered his fans of Tamil Nadu an instant help by donating Rs 10 lakh to the Chief Minister's Public Relief Fund.

  • Telugu superstar Allu Arjun stood besides his fans during the hour of crisis. He come forward with an aid of Rs 25 lakh. He tweeted that he had spent 18 years of his life in the city and all that he is today is because of Chennai.

  • Suriya and his brother Karthi contributed Rs 25 lakh to help the victims.

  • Anirudh Ravichander, the 'Why This Kolaveri Di' famed composer was among the first to lend the helping hand. Ravichander has also been constantly tweeting about help and relief materials.

  • Apart from actively taking part in relief activities, Dhanush helped flood-hit people by donating Rs 5 lakh.

  • NTR's actor-brother, Kalyanram too announced to contribute Rs 5 lakh to TN Chief Minister's Relief Fund.

  • Ravi Teja donated Rs 5 lakh while Varun Tej has given Rs 3 lakh to help flood victims.
