Shah Rukh wants Mithali Raj to coach the Indian men's cricket team
Mithali Raj, the skipper of the Indian women's cricket team, who now holds the record for being the highest run-scorer in women's one-day-internationals along with many other outstanding records, has received massive praises for her captaincy.

She played a key role in helping her team reach the final in last year's ICC Women's World Cup against England, which India unfortunately lost by a narrow margin of 9 runs.

And now, Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has made a praiseworthy prophecy about her future prospects. The King Khan thinks that after retiring from professional cricket, the 35-year-old experienced woman cricketer should coach the Indian national men's cricket team.

Recently, Shah Rukh had a long interaction with Mithali in his new show, named - "TED Talks India Nayi Soch". While interviewing Mithali Raj, SRK who is the host of this show, praised her performance and further said, "I want to see you (Mithali Raj) as the coach of the men's cricket team one day."

Raj responded with a smile and replied, "I always want to give my best."

Speaking to Raj, the actor asked about her book preferences. In her response, she said that reading a book keeps her calm, positive and focused on the field.

"When you are on the field, and everyone is looking up to you and the entire team to bring back the trophy, (then) it is not just about the game. So, it is necessary for us to stay focused… and we all have our own ways to ensure we give our best on the field. I read books to get rid of pressure during a match. It does help me to keep calm and encourage a good performance," Mithali responded to Shah Rukh.

Mithali is one of the most popular female cricketers in the country, who is often nicknamed - "Tendulkar of Indian women's cricket", as she is presently the all-time leading run-scorer for India in all formats of the game.

Raj had shown her glamorous side after featuring along side SRK and businesswoman Nita Ambani on the cover of international fashion magazine 'Vogue' in September last year.
