The reason as stated by Shahid for withdrawing is his commitment towards his work. The actor is currently shooting for his father Pankaj Kapur's film 'Mausam' where he will be seen romancing Sonam Kapoor.

BOLLYWOOD HEARTTHROB, Shahid Kapoor has withdrawn from the dance show “Jhalak Dikhla Jaa” season 4. He was supposed to co-judge the show with the evergreen dancing diva of Bollywood Madhuri Dixit; who is now foraying into the small screen. The third co-judge of the competition will be well known choreographer Remo D'Souza who will share the space with Madhuri.

“Jhalak Dikhla Jaa” is a dance reality show, which includes participants from all over the world to showcase their talent in front of the world.

Shahid Kapoor, who is a trained professional dancer will not be a part of the reality show, which will be commencing in the month of December.

The official spokesperson of the show said that Shahid opted out of Jhalak Dikhla Jaa; and the producers are in talks with some other big names to be the co-judge of Jhalak Dikhla Jaa-4 with Madhuri Dixit and Remo D’souza.

Grapevine has it that he may soon be aboard on an international project.
