It may lead to an altercation or at least, a heated argument among them. However, there is one person who loves to be called as Kaminey.
Shahid Kapoor, the new heartthrob of Bollywood, loves to be called so with his recent release of the film Kaminey (director-Vishal Bhardwaj), which is breaking records at the box office. In the words of critics, “Kaminey” is bold, stark, funny and unpredictable and that's what works in its favour.
The film is a story of twin brothers, Charlie and Guddu (Shahid Kapoor), Charlie lisps, while Guddu stammers.Charlie wants to get rich and he gets mixed up in deadly get-rich-quick scheme, while Guddu finds the love of his life Sweety (Priyanka Chopra).
The word Kaminey does not make Shahid angry or offended in public; it makes him more delighted and happy as any otther positivecomments made about him in past. With his interviews on various news channels, he admits that he does not feel offended being called as “kaminey” it makes him very happy. He says, "It shows the love and affection of the people for me and for my movie Kaminey. "
Even we don't feel offended calling him kaminey, with the way he acted in the film. The two different characters show ,how much effort he had put in for these roles. He wanted to break the image of a chocolate boy as many of the critics believed that he could do only such roles.
Now this Kaminey of bollywood is heading towards the path of success, with his upcoming movie “Dil Bole Hadippa” co-starring Rani Mukherjee, who is making her comeback with Yashraj films, releasing on september 18, 2009.
The way this boy from Rajiv in Ishq-Vishq to deadly Charlie in Kaminey is heading, one day he will be able to make a place in the category of legendary actors like Amitabh Bachchan, Shahrukh Khan and Aamir Khan.
