Unlike the other current crop of the film industry, who are all from a filmy background, Sharukh Khan was from a middle class family from Delhi. He was not an obvious film star, but he came up on the basis of his acting power. But now he has gained a lot of popularity in Bollywood along with the title of 'King Khan'. Despite all this he is still a honest and decent human being.
Shahrukh Khan's life is similar to his melodramatic movies which includes happiness, pain, love, success and failure. He was a bright child and was an all-rounder in during his school days. He joined Delhi
University to peruse the degree in Economics (hons), during that time he actively participated in drama at the college level. During this time another thing that was going parallel in his life was his love with Gauri Chibber.
Shahrukh Khan met Gauri at a common party. His love life can be compared to his movie 'Dilwale Dulhaniye Le Jaenge', and finally married Gowri in 1991. Meanwhile, he did his Mass Communication course at Jamia Milia Islamiya University and at the same time he started his career as an actor in a television serial Dil Dariya as Sikh boy, but it went unnoticed. He again came up with a noticeable performance in the serial 'Fauji' which was followed by circus.
His first golden chance to work as a hero in the movies came with Deewana in 1992 which was a hit. The emotion packed performance in the movie made it a big hit. Sharukh was also seen in a negative role in movies like Darr, Anjaam, and Baazigar. He then collaborated with Yash Chopra
and Karan Johar
and gave some romantic hits like Dil to Pagal Hai, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Mohabbatein, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, Kal Ho Naa Ho, Veer-Zaara and Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna.
Shahrukh Khan was also good in some critical roles in movies like Anjaam, Hey Ram, Paheli, Dil Se, Chak De India
and My name is Khan, but he is well known for his romantic roles in the industry. Till now he acted in over 70 films out of which thirty were nominated for film fare awards, but his favorite role was the one in movie 'Kabhi Haan Kabhi Na'.
Sharukh is very much attached to his family and he is very possessive about his family. He prefers to be a better father than a better actor. Both his kids Suhana and Aryan are brilliantly taught to respect the co-existence of Ganpati and Allah in their house. He shares his ups and downs in his life with his family and his family is a great strength for him.
Sharukh Khan did not do just acting. He also has two production houses Red Chillies Entertainment
and Dreamz Unlimited. He also showed his talent in singing in the movie Josh and Don, which was loved by his fans. He was recently seen in television as a successor of Amitabh Bachchan
in the most popular show Kaun Banega Crorepati. Finally, we wish him more success in the future and we wish this King of Romance a very Happy Birthday.
