Shahrukh Khan's stars seem to be in the wrong house as events don't seem to be favouring him. One controversy after another, King Khan is courting more controversies with his each move. A harmless and a happy decision to have another child is also turning against him as the the Indian Radiological and Imaging Associations (IRIA) is questioning that without sex determination how can anyone know the sex of a child?
To make matters a little clear, a so-called 'insider' was quoted by a prominent daily saying, “The baby is a boy. So Suhana will now have another brother after Aryan. It was entirely Gauri’s decision to go in for surrogacy.” This has raised the suspicion of IRIA and now they want the state health department to look into the matter as sex determination is illegal in India according to the Pre-Conception Pre-Natal Diagnostic Techniques (PCPNDT) Act.
However, the PCPNDT act is not applicable abroad but neither SRK nor Gauri is saying anything for the moment, which is apparently adding to the buzz. People are already scandalized as to how can he behave in this manner and this is generating to more gossip.
The IRIA, on the other hand, are getting strict regarding people who determine sex of unborn children. As was reported by Zee News, Dr Sanjeev Mani, senior radiologist, Holy Family Hospital, Bandra, said, “Though filling of form F [mandatory while conducting an ultrasound] has nothing to do with sex determination, radiologists are caught for it under the act.” Doctors are claiming that there are instances of breach in case of celebrities.
Nothing can be confirmed yet as there is no evidence that provides confirmation. SRK and wife Gauri Khan consulted the same doctor whom Aamir and Kiran Rao consulted when they had their baby through surrogacy.
