Union government should initiate necessary recovery-proceedings of IAF dues against HD Deve Gowda for using IAF planes for non-official purposes during his tenure as Prime Minister.
IT IS embarrassing that despite being a former prime minister, HD Deve Gowda used abusive language and showered abuses at a sitting Chief Minister of a state. Devegowda is the same person, who owes crores of rupees for using Indian Air Force (IAF) planes for non-official purposes during his tenure as country’s Prime Minister.
Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yeddyurappa should not overlook or forgive him because he is the Chief Minister of the state and represent the people. It is also high time that Union government initiates necessary recovery-proceedings of IAF dues against HD Deve Gowda. Democracy should be saved by debarring people owing government-dues from contesting any elections. Such people should practically lose all rights to remain in politics.
