IT WAS an attack on the freedom of the Press and the Centre silently watched the ugly face of Shiv Sena. A 15- member group of Shiv Sena came and attacked the IBN Lokmat office.

On Friday when the IBN Lokmat office in Mumbai office was stormed by Shiv Sena members, many reporters including women journalists were attacked and seriously injured. The goons   destroyed office equipment including TVs, cameras and camera stands and broke doors and windows.

Looking at this it seems that the UPA government cannot tackle such situations. The Home Minister must resign as soon as possible and journalists must unite everywhere to protest in a show of strength,  possibly go for a hartal to show that in India  there is no freedom of the Press and the present government has failed miserably to tackle the Shiv Sena.

The Centre must take a serious view of this matter because today the press is being attacked tomorrow the government will be attacked.

The Congress, BJP, NCP, Shiva Sena and MNS are the different faces of opportunism, regionalims and fanaticism in Maharashtra. Congress is a spineless party as for as Maharshtra is concerned. They have never done anything against Shiva Sena in past as Bal Thakckeray like Bhindrewala was their protege. BJP has no choice except to speak some undecipherables and NCP is for ever known fencesitter. We will be hoping against hope if we think that they would dare to do anything concrete. They all are afraid of losing the Marathi votes. They all are hand-in-gloves. Some action would be taken apparantly to save face but it would be to hoodwink the public. I wonder if the Maharashtrians themselves have any idea what damage these opportunists doing in their name. Bal Thackeray wants to sow the seeds of a separate state.

Dear Naqvi,Have a Nice Day, First of all we all are the Citizen of India & we respect our nation and the leaders who faught for the nation before Freedom and that time Our Father of Nation and other big leaders sacrifice their life and it is 1001% true and after getting Freedom no person in India is United and if these is like in future then their is no doubt that the same situation will be repeated in future because of this particular love of State in India , above all we are Indian and of religion factor we all are United inside that`s All.......
