Shocking video: Govt-run primary school in UP turns into 'Dance Bar' on Raksha Bandhan
Recently, a shameful incident of disrespecting an educational institution took place in Mirzapur district of Uttar Pradesh when a government-run primary school turned into a 'dance bar' to celebrate the birthday party of the village head's son and that too on Raksha Bandhan day.

According to media reports, the incident is reported to have taken place on Monday, August 7, at Tetriya village of Jamalpur where the school is situated.

A per a Times of India report, on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan festival, the school was closed for three days, and taking advantage, the gram pradhan took the keys of the school and organised his son's birthday party at the school premises. Around two dozen village heads from nearby villages joined in the celebration where the gram pradhan had brought bar dancers from outside.

After this incident, the video of the birthday celebration went viral in which two women can be seen dancing on Bhojpuri songs. The video shows that some people are showering money on the vulgar performance of two female dancers. It also shows how the village heads are attempting to copy their dance moves.

A makeshift stage was created for the dancers by joining desks. Students and parents have complained that they stumbled upon empty liquor bottles in classrooms the next day.

As per the report, Primary Education Officer Pravin Kumar Tiwari has said that an investigation into the incident will be carried out.

"We are preparing a detailed report of the incident, and it will be submitted to the district magistrate on Thursday for further action," said Tiwari. However, he has claimed that no school staff including teachers or the principal are involved as they did not attended the birthday bash.
