The building of Institute of Music and Fine Arts belongs to the state department. It is being observed that the state department is trying to please VIP's and other prominent officials to get their accommodation repaired from time to time.
SHRI RAM Sena, Jammu Kashmir, which held its press conference under the chairmanship of its state President Rajiv Mahajan, had shown great resentment against the administration of the state government for delaying to get the deteriorated building renovated which is occupied by Institute of Music and Fine Arts, Poonch House, Talab Tillo Jammu. As the building is in a dilapidated state there are chances of its collapse which would eventually result in injuries or casualties to the students or the staff.
In the conference Mahajan said that the matter was brought to the notice of the former Deputy Commissioner of Jammu M.K. Diwedi, who was kind enough to inspect the building on 26th Oct, 2010 and had assured him that the above said building shall get renovated/repaired within ten days time, but till this date no action seems to have been taken to get the above said building repair or renovated.

The state department should understand if the said building occupied by I.N.F.A collapses, the students as well as staff will lose their precious lives. So, Shri Ram Sena appealed to the Director of the state department to look into this matter personally to save the lives of the students and staff and get the building renovated/repaired immediately. Mahajan also said that the administration of the state government should get the students of the institute shifted to the new campus of Jammu University till the building is repaired / renovated before December 15 to avoid any mishap. If the renovation is not carried out members of Shri Ram Sena, along with the parents of the students, and the students of the Institution of Music and Fine Arts, will stage an agitation against the delay being made by the concern authorities to get the above mentioned building repaired. Among those who were present in the meeting incuded Bal Krishan Arora (Sectary), Vinay Gupta (Sr.Vice President), Deepak Sharma (Jr.Sectary), Parul Gupta (Youth Vice President), Anil Chopra (Industries President), Pawan Choudhary (Vice President), Raghvir Krishan Gupta (Organiser), Vijay Gupta (Treasurer), Shiv Kumar Sharma (City Vice President), Ashok Choudhary (Sainik Colony Ward President) and others.
