Shri Ram Sena celebrates Ram Navmi with old age home inmates
Empathizing with the old-age people, Shri Ram Sena, Jammu-Kashmir under the presidentship of Rajiv Mahajan celebrated Ram Navami at Vridh Ashram Ambphalla in Jammu today. Fruits and sweets were distributed as 'prasad' among the inmates of the Ashram on the occasion. Shri Ram Sena, Jammu-Kashmir celebrated Ram Navami, a Hindu festival of worshiping Goddess Durga and Shri Ram Chander Ji Birth anniversary with great zeal at Jammu's old age home (Vridh Ashram).

Members of the group also distributed fruits and sweets as prasad among old age people. Shri Ram Sena state President Rajiv Mahajan while addressing the gathering said that it is natural that every child has to grown young and then become an old man with the passage of time. One must know that the old man of today was once a young and dynamic personality of the past who sacrificed his everything for laying a concrete foundation for his next generation. Today, he is old, affirm but no one is his care-taker. 

Despite of having good chunk of property and reputed family background, these old persons are dejected by their own blood. Mahajan asks those progeny of these pillars of yesteryear to take lesson from the Ramayana and take these founders of their present society to their homes with dignity as best heirs. Among those who served the fruits and sweets included Bal Krishan Arora (Secretary), Ajay Gupta (Sr. Vice President), Sanjeev Sharma, Shiv Kumar Sharma, Rakesh Badyal and others.
