Shri Ram Sena condemns Farooq's remarks for supporting anti-nationalists
Jammu, February 25: Hitting out at National Conference (NC) President Farooq Abdullah for his remarks for stirring a fresh controversy by saying that the new generation of Kashmiri militants were fighting for freedom, State President Shri Ram Sena, Rajiv Mahajan said his statement was an insult to India.

By saying that Indian security forces would not be able to defend Jammu and Kashmir from terrorists, Rajiv Mahajan said that the former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister's statement would discourage the Army.

"Farooq Abdullah's remarks will discourage the Army. Politicians should avoid making such remarks," Rajiv told reporters, here on Saturday.

"I am deeply disappointed at Farooq Abdullah's statement and this is a very immature remark and full of lies," Rajiv Mahajan said.
He said Farooq Abdullah has been making a series of controversial statements when he is out of power on issues pertaining to border dispute between India and Pakistan.

"Abdullah had earlier courted controversy with his remark that India should give up its conquest of trying to control the PoK as it belonged to Pakistan," he disclosed.

"Jammu and Kashmir is an integral part of India and by making such a statement, Farooq Abdullah has insulted India and we do not tolerate such statement," Rajiv said.

Castigating the Central government for its lenient policies towards separatists and stone pelters, Rajiv Mahajan urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to give open hand to Indian Army to tackle terrorism in the country particularly in Jammu and Kashmir.

Saying that while Pakistan government had ordered a 10-year jail term for a Pakistani cricket fan, who had jubilantly waved the Indian flag in Pakistan after his idol Virat Kohli's match-winning innings, punishing him for acting against Pakistan's sovereignty, the government of India and Jammu and Kashmir government on the other hand had failed to take action against stone pelters and those anti-national elements who waived Pakistani and ISIS flags on Indian territory against the country's sovereignty.

He asked the Central government to take strong action against such anti-national elements so the morale of security forces and nationalist forces gets boosted.
