SHRI RAM sena state president Rajiv Mahajan exhorted upon the central government if it wants to see peace in Jammu and Kashmir region it must declare Jammu division and Kashmir division separate states and Ladakh as Union territory. He said until and unless Jammu and Kashmir is not divided, militancy can’t be curbed here.

Mahajan said that all exercises like central leaders’ talks with Kashmir valley representatives, special packages and even interlocutors' initiatives are futile exercises. It is all because separatists' writ runs large than any others in valley. Moreover they have learned the tactics of looting central and state government. The people of Jammu region are unnecessarily forced to bear hardships on all fronts. Central and state governments are appeasing Kashmiris at the cost of people in Jammu and Ladakh regions. So it will be wise to create Jammu as a separate state and Ladakh as Union territory for uniform development and peace.

Mahajan appealed all Jammu based political, social and business organizations to get united and fight for separate Jammu state for peace and progress of the region.
