Shri Ram Sena demands registration counter at Bhagwati Nagar base camp
Shri Ram Sena (SRS) Jammu and Kashmir has expressed some serious concern over the poor facilities made available to Shri Amarnath Ji pilgrims at the base camp, Bhagwati Nagar, Jammu. SRS have demanded that all facilities including registration, medical check up to pilgrims should be under one roof at Bhagwati Nagar base camp.

Shri Ram Sena state president Rajiv Mahajan in a press release issued today said that Shri Amarnath Ji pilgrims at base camp Bhagwati Nagar faced an ordeal in absence of the registration counter. Mahajan said that the Amarnath pilgrims coming from outside the state are directed to Shri Amanath yatra base camp at Bhagwati Nagar.

On reaching the base camp, the pilgrims are made known that the registration counter is at Jammu Haat. Mahajan said that finding out a location at unknown place is a huge task to an outsider coupled with fatigue of travelling from far off place.

This poor arrangement of the government has infuriated the pilgrims coming from far off places, who resorted to protest and anti government slogans. Mahajan said this is not good endeavor and needs to be corrected.

Mahajan appealed the state government and other organizers to ensure all facilities to the Amarnath Ji pilgrims at base camp for their convenience and smooth conduct of yatra.
