Shri Ram Sena demands Rs 25 lakh ex-gratia to the kins of slain soldiers in J&K
Shri Ram Sena's (SRS) Jammu and Kashmir unit president, Rajiv Mahajan has slammed the state government for remaining failed to grant ex-gratia relief in favour of next of kins of the security forces' personnel who sacrificed their lives while performing their duties in Jammu and Kashmir.

Castigating the J&K state government for its casual and highly apathetic approach towards the issue of security personnel, who sacrificed their lives while protecting the sovereignty and integrity of the state and the welfare of its people, Mahajan said that the state government's conduct was a great insult to the national heroes who made the supreme sacrifice.

Rajiv Mahajan said that while other state governments in the country pay adequate compensation to the security personnel killed in their respective states, the Jammu and Kashmir state government skips from its moral responsibility.

Mahajan demanded the J&K government to promulgate ordinance illustrating payment of at least Rs 25 lakh ex-gratia to the family members of slain soldiers while serving in J&K state.
