Shri Ram Sena demands severe punishment for Delhi gang-rape accused
Shri Ram Sena Jammu-Kashmir has expressed sympathy with 23-year-old women who was gang-raped and attacked by criminals in a moving in New Delhi on Sunday last.
SHRI RAM Sena president, Rajiv Mahajan, in a press release, prayed for the early recovery of the girl, who continues to be critical in Delhi’s Safdarjung Hospital. Surgeons had to remove her intestine because of the severe gangrene infections she had contracted.
Mahajan said that there is an urgent need of enactment of stringent laws to control such barbaric acts against women and government should promulgate laws without wasting any time as the incidents of crime against women have increased many fold in the recent past.
He also demanded the opinion of the victims’ parents in deciding punishment awarded to the accused persons by the trial court.
