THE EXECUTIVE members of Shri Ram Sena (SRS), Jammu and Kashmir, under the chairmanship of Rajiv Mahajan, its President, held a meeting here on Wednesday, in its office, where the members of Sena showed their great resentment against Chairman Hurriyat Conference (M) Mirwaiz Moulvi Omar Farooq and Yasin Malik, who recently criticized the Army Chief General V.K Singh for opposing revocation of Armed Forces Special Powers Act (AFSPA) and also criticized the Indian leaders and their security advisors for being responsible for depriving the civil, human, economic and political rights of the people of Jammu and Kashmir, by advocating suppressive measures.
Rajiv warned Mirwaiz, not to give such type of statements for the sake of his personal gains and to provoke the peace loving people of Jammu and Kashmir, who always desire peaceful atmosphere in Jammu and Kashmir.
Rajiv also asked Mirwaiz to see practically the peaceful atmosphere of the J&K State, and his provocative statements shall be of no use except to disturb the atmosphere of the State. He said that the majority of the people of Jammu and Kashmir are giving full support to the Army deployed in the J&K State. He informed that it is only due to the deployment of Indian Army, Border Security Forces, and Central Reserve Police Force that Kashmir is improving in all respects, due to the duties performing by the Armed Forces, otherwise the situation would have been entirely different in the Valley. He said that it is for the betterment of the people of Jammu and Kashmir, that Army has introduced AFSPA.
Rajiv and his party men said that the slogans and statements of Separatist leaders will not make any achievements for them except the disturbances in the peaceful Kashmir Valley and are advised by the members of the Sena, not to create any fuss amongst the peace loving people of Kashmir, for the sake of their personal gains and at the risk of the innocent people of Kashmir.
Rajiv said there is no Kashmir issue at all, but some of the separatist group in the Valley made it an issue for the sake of their personal gains, otherwise majority of the people of the Kashmir Valley believe in maintaining brotherhood, socialism and peace. He said there are leaders from the ruling party as well as the opposition parties and the government is made by the people of Kashmir, for the people of Kashmir, so the matter of Kashmir issue does not arise at all. It is only that few separatist groups in Kashmir are creating bad atmosphere for the sake of their personal gains.
