Shri Ram Sena, Jammu-Kashmir, held a press conference at party head office here in Jammu today to express concern over celebration of Valentine's Day by the youth of Jammu. Rajiv Mahajan state president of Sena presided over the conference.
ADDRESSING MEDIA persons, Mahajan said that Shri Ram Sena is bitterly opposed to celebration of Valentine’s Day as it is against the ethics and culture of Jammu and Kashmir people and a step towards inclination, adoption of Western culture.

The Shri Ram Sena appealed to parents to keep their children far away from the grips of Western culture otherwise their own culture will diminish within no time and Western culture prevail. They further said that Shri Ram Sena would not allow any vulgarity in their holy land of temples and shrines.
Mahajan warned the public that Shri Ram Sena activists would be keeping a strict watch on hotels, restaurants, parks, theaters and gift shops, and any body found indulging in vulgarity would not be spared.
Rajiv Mahajan state president of Shri Ram Sena appreciated the decision of Bapu Assa Ram Ji to celebrate 14th February as “Mata-Pita Pujan day” and appealed to the public to attend the occasion at Bapu Assa Ram Ashram at Bhagwati Nagar Jammu on February 14.
