Shri Ram Sena Jammu and Kashmir has welcomed the decision of Shri Amarnath Shrine Board (SASB) for extending the period of Shri Amarnath Ji yatra for 55 days - Jyesht Purnima, June 28 to Raksha Bandhan, August 21) this year.
Shri Ram Sena state president, Rajiv Mahajan while expressing his gratitude to the SASB chairman NN Vohra, the Governor of Jammu and Kashmir state, for enhancing the period of yatra to 55 days this year, said by enhancing the yatra period, the Shrine Board has redressing the grievances of crores of Shiv Bhagats (devotees) across the world.
Mahajan said Shri Amarnath Shrine Board has fulfilled its promise made with the stake holders of the yatra last year which resulted large scale protests on curtailment of yatra period to 37 days.
Rajiv Mahajan said that Shri Ram Sena Jammu and Kashmir intends to donate 10 blood pressure machines for the facilities of pilgrims during the yatra period this year. Mahajan also appeals to other social and volunteer organizations to donate generously in cash or kind for facility of yatries.
