Shubham Jaglan wins another Junior Golf Championship
After clinching a one-stroke win at the Junior World Golf Championship at Welk Resort Fountain Course in California, Shubham Jaglan added another feather to his cap. Ten-year-old, Shubham despite coming from a lower background, nailed his presence in the Junior Golf event. He created history by winning the IJGA World Stars of Junior Golf in Las Vegas on Thursday.

He is the son of a milkman, who hails from the state of Haryana. He shot a three round score of 106, winning by a five-stroke margin, ahead of two Americans, Justin Dang and Sihan Sandhu and Thailand's Pongsapak Laopakdee for the Boys 9-10 years category title at the Angel Park.

After securing his win, Shubham revealed how he worked hard to reach at this level, he said, "It's just a dream come true. It was all my year's hard work. I am celebrating in a great way. All my friends are congratulating me." He further added, "It was all because of my family's support, my coach and my school which helped me in the US, that's why I could speak to you actually and my golf club DGC, for giving me all the facilities for playing. Especially, my dad supported me throughout my life and it has been a great journey", as reported by a media group.

Apparently, it is his hard work which has paid him back. He also revealed that he does not believe in short-cuts, when it comes to achieve something in life, "I am just working hard and being honest, there are no short-cuts for me."

Since he was seven-year-old, former golfer Nonita Lalla Qureshi has been training him. At the age of five he showed interest in golf, after which he started practicing in agricultural fields. Till now he has won over 100 tournaments.
